Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud-based systems and architectures. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles, practices, and technologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud-based systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security controls into cloud-based applications and services.

  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats.

  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation for cloud environments.

  • Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond to threats in a timely manner.

  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on cloud security best practices and emerging threats.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud security technologies and trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.

  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, encryption, and identity management systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security are a plus.
